WNBA Marketing Stupidity

I just stumbled on the Washington Mystics Rebel uniforms. These promote the 19th amendment and women’s right to vote. Now, I don’t care about the WNBA, not one bit. But, I would buy a Mystics Rebel t-shirt in a heartbeat because it’s cool and it touches on women’s rights. That’s a subject that is important and near and dear to my heart. I went immediately to their fan shop...and found not a single related fan item. Just the usual merchandise. If they are going to all the trouble to create and market a special uniform, did it not occur to them that fans might want to buy related merchandise?

Yes it would appear they are on sale now. Not cheap though..
