Wnba draft thread... Kaitlyn and Aubrey's status

Do you think either of them will get drafted? I think Kaitlyn has a good shot in the 3rd round. Bummed that Aubrey didn't get to play as much this year. Though I have a feeling that both of them will go overseas and then get on a training camp roster next year even if they do get drafted.

Excited for Paige however. She made a great decision to stay and glad it all paid off!! It's been said 100s of times but a truly phenomenal human, thanking all of the staff at uconn that's gotten her to this moment. Hope they're all living it up and celebrating.

I see Kaitlyn going in the 2nd or 3rd round. I think some team will pick up Aubs on a training camp contract. Just my guesses.

I'm not sure Aubrey's body can take a pro career. I'm sure Chen will get drafted.

They could get drafted. Both are capable players who could help a WNBA team with a few minutes here and there. Just depends on which team will take a chance on drafting them.

Incredibly difficult to make a roster. But I think it is a great thing to be able to say you were drafted. So, I hope they get drafted. I hope to see a lot of familiar names on draft night.

As a Valkyries founding season ticket holder, I'm super pumped we have our first Husky and I think Nakase will be an incredible mentor for Chen. Really eager to see her in a Valks uniform in just a months time!

Even though both were taken late in the 3rd round in this draft I wouldn't bet against Kaitlyn and Aubrey making the opening roster for the Valkyries and Lynx, respectively!
I know the odds are against them but UConn players are loved by WNBA coaches & GM's because they're Pro-Ready!
