Just wondering...how many potential draftees are usually invited? I only ask because Olivia Miles isn't on the list and wasn't she a projected top pick last year, before she transferred?

They’re being listed alphabetically. It’s typically 12-15, I’d imagine a couple more with the addition of Portland and Toronto.

Hmm. Quick research last year was 16 players. There are now 15 teams, so, at least as many as last year.

Ok, so there's been a lull between the last post, and of course the second I click post, there will be one. That being said, I would find it hard to believe that the list is only 15 long, as there are always teams that pull out surprises either from US or foreign based players.

On edit, I was wrong.

One thought - there is only so much room for the "main" tables, so other prospects might be advised to attend, even if they are not at a table.

NEW YORK, April 9, 2026 – UCLA center Lauren Betts, Connecticut guard Azzi Fudd, Spain National Team center Awa Fam Thiam and TCU guard Olivia Miles headline the list of 15 prospects who will attend the WNBA Draft 2026 presented by State Street Investment Management SPY on Monday, April 13 at The Shed at Hudson Yards in New York City.

Probably the first 4 picks, altho not necessarily in that order...

Poor Charlisse Leger-Walker! Couldn’t they have squeezed in one more table so all of UCLA’s star seniors and grad students could be on the floor together? Hopefully one of her teammates makes room for her at their table. 😉

Olivia Miles is # 12 on the list (above= see #1 post on this thread) and on other "lists".

I posted my question and Miles observation 10 minutes after the thread was started. Obviously it was a premature question as my concerns have been replied to...or maybe it wasn't obvious.

Probably my fault. I created the thread after the first few names were announced, and then replied to the post. Someone very smart suggested I just edit the OP and add names, which I did.

For me the highlight of the draft two years ago was when Kate Martin was picked. She was just in the audience to support Caitlin; it was great to see her picked in the second round, but be able to go up to the stage and have her pic taken with an Aces jersey.

I've seen Serah Williams on some lists of likely to be drafted; she ought to be there with the several UConn players supporting Azzi.
