WNBA draft, April 17

Seattle took Holmes. Maybe that coach will be the one that gets her to change her diet and training regime. There's a ton of talent in that body but it'll take a lifestyle change and a ton of work.

The new Liberty coach wants to spread the floor and push the pace huh? Shook?

Well, Ionescu, Meg and Jones can all run. And someone has to get them the ball. Having watched her for four years, Shook has always been able to block shots, but she rebounds better every year. And she's got a good jumper up to and just past the elbow. Will take a three now and then, too.

Lot of players there in Brooklyn, though, too. Will see if there's any trades afterwards.

I wouldn’t have picked her that high but she does have talent and can also shoot the three.
But the new GM wants push the pace, spread the floor and run everyone to the 3pt. line. Shook will be the last one down. Odom now, she's an interesting pick. If she gets her head right, increases her motor, works her game and gets in the weight room she could be something in 2 years.

I think the Logistics of this virtual draft has been very solid.

Pivec at #25 to Atlanta. Being interviewed

NY takes another G. Erica Ogwumike. They have about 12 guards on the roster currently.

.-.
Kaila Charles to the Connecticut Suns. So the Suns have two players who can't shoot the three pointers. But they'll be murder on the fast breaks.

Space the floor. Head bangHead bangHead bang

Geez, the Houston Rockets should not be our vision.:mad:

Seattle drafted Haley Gorecki at #31. Looks like they were going with shooters with their picks.

No, that was you, I remember it specifically being you

Okay, I don't recall what I posted before the season started. I know LoTrader is a huge Pivec fan, he's not on this board anymore.

I like Gorecki. Smart player. Not sure Kaleena survives, :(

The 2nd and 3rd round went by so fast it was hard to focus on the picks. Brittany Brewer to Atlanta is an interesting pick.
