If she was that good when she was getting stoned, maybe that's a good sign for what she can do off the green stuff.

She went to high school here (The Triad)... then went to a local college High Point University. She transferred to a bigger stage for her senior year.. and it definitely paid off. I doubt she would have been selected in the first round if she remained at HPU.

So many 1st round players picked who weren't at the draft party. Goes to show how strange (and to be honest, mostly weak) the draft class is. There are very few "obvious pick now" players in it.

edit: in retrospect, though, it might have made sense to have Malott there after her great tourney performance

You have "crapped" twice, what's up???

I was hoping EW would go to Seattle.... or Chicago ..... but at least now her family can attend more games this way.

Too many refried beans?

Ha..... Im hungry... waiting on this draft to end so i can get some dinner...... thanks for the suggestion :p

Brittany Boyd is a good one. Tina will like playing with her.

I don't like the studio team being in the arena. It's echoing

Phoenix doesn't care about this season anyway. Why not take IzzyB?

The Mercury have Griner so Izzy can rehab this season and come back next season.

With Harrison being selected in the first round..... does that make it the first Brother/Sister duo ever being selected in the Pro basketball first round? Her brother was a 1st round pick back in the early 2000s

Yay Kiah!

Izzy Harrison goes 12th. Probably would have gone top 5 but for the unfortunate injury. Knee injuries are sucky things; science help us with this menace. :(

Phoenix not a surprise at all. I really doubt they want to make the playoffs this year. So to select a quality player who can't play this year is a good move.
