WNBA All time Points, Assists, and Rebounds leaders

Diana a lock to go over 10,000 pts next year with no injury issue but can Sil get to 4000 rebounds (35 needed) in last 4 games. I am assuming these records are regular season records?

2. Charles 3,610 (2nd active player)

Assists:

1. Bird 3,208

2. Pencheiro 2,599

3. Vandersloot 2,365 (2nd active player)

Tina needs about 40-45 games to close the gap between her and Sylvia. That's 1 season, maybe 2, if she is healthy.
Vandersloot will need about 100-120 games to pass Bird's assists record. Her career assists average is 6.7 per game for 12 seasons. This year she is down to 6.6 assist per games after 5 amazing years of assist averages per season with a low of 8.1 to a high of 10 per game. Bird has averaged 5.5 assists per game for 14 seasons.

Tina has a real shot at Fowles' rebound record. Assuming she averages 7 rebounds per game she should obtain Fowles record in about 50-60 games. Her career average is 9.3 rebounds per game. So I am being too conservative and your 40-45 is probably is more likely.

Since Taurasi will never retire, I can't see anyone taking the scoring record from her. ;)

Sloot needs 843 assists. Based on her declining stats, that could be 140 games at 6.0 apg. That's 3.5 seasons. Sloot may play 4 more seasons--or not. The most likely record to fall is Syl's rebounding total. The least likely is Diana's points total. If Sloot doesn't get the assists record, someone else will need to excel for 18-20 seasons. Sabrina? Cloud? Paige?

Sabrina just became the first player in history to have 500 points, 200 rebounds and 200 assists in one season. Probably more records to come, but not likely the assists category.

Some people here tend to overlook Tina, whether it's for Team USA selection or other things. She could easily finish her WNBA career as #1 in rebounding and #2 in scoring. Clear measures of greatness!
