How the vote broke down in the West. Players put Stewie ahead of Candace and the fan ranking dragged BG down 4 places .

That appears to be the opinion of world outside the Boneyard echo chamber. Who would have a more valid opinion than the players she competes against?

The fans have BG at 6. Somebody is stuffing the ballot box. Based on this voting the leading scorer and shot blocker in the league may not make the all-star team. IMO, the only frontcourt player having a better season than BG is Big Syl.

let's see: Media has forwards ranked Fowles, Griner, Nneka and the players have them ranked Fowles, Moore and Griner tied....

and Parker makes it in ahead of both Griner and Nneka.

The formula is: ((Fan Rank * 2) + Player Rank + Media Rank)/4 = Weighted Score
Tie breaker is highest fan ranking.

Over-weighted toward fan preference IMO.

Personal life aside, Glory is a very good player and deserves to be in the All-Star conversation.

She's a lock to make the team, just not a starter.

They should play her and Syl together if they are the two best players in the league, which I believe they are. It's an all-star game so who cares if you have two bigs starting? BG is more that capable of playing the 4.
