So they have selected the 20 most/best/biggest of the W's inaugural 20 years. How about the top 20 from UConn only. Here is an interesting piece put together by adimeback ranked from 20 to 1 Letterman style.

The WNBA is celebrating its 20th season in existence by honoring the league’s biggest stars and most important moments. Unsurprisingly, the league’s history has a distinct UConn flavor to it. The Huskies have sent 34 players to the league since its inception in 1996. From Rebecca Lobo to Breanna Stewart, UConn has been omnipresent as the professional league grows to match the enthusiasm (and market power) built by Geno Auriemma in Storrs.

To that end, we thought we’d celebrate the WNBA in the best way we know how, by honoring UConn players and only UConn players. Below, we’ve compiled our own 20 at 20 list, ranking the Huskies who have had the most success in the league. Let’s go in reverse order, shall we?

Any idea what this is about?
" We mercifully did not punish Sales for her current job, assistant coach at UCF."

I'm guessing it's a jab at her taking a job in a UConn rival's house and that they will not hold anything against her for it while ranking her on their list. ??

Probably a joke about her taking a job with the AAC team in second place to Uconn - eg our main rival in the league.

USF ended second place. UCF tied with Cincinnati for second to last. UCF might be a rival in football, not women's basketball.

Jim I think that was more of a conference jab vs. a WBB jab. It was a pretty weak jab however because the UCONN MBB team defeated UCF twice handily last year and the Football team defeated UCF at UCF for the team's biggest win of the season. There no UCF rivalry with UCONN anywhere of significance.

Not only that, but the writer (Tyler Wilkinson) is clever and funny. On #1 Dee - he says "the only negative about her is that she has not appeared on the 'A Dime Back' podcast". I'm sure she will rectify that in the near future!
