are there scenarios where we can either join as an Indy or a football only? I see Indy as a better option in the short term. If either happens, can we join the new big east for all sports? Looking for the board cr experts to engage, or Nostradamus. Would this be the best route for us in the next 3-5 years?

Us joining anything as a football only makes no sense at all. Our two biggest assets are men's and women's basketball. I call bullshit on any UConn football only rumors. Nobody is inviting UConn and electing to leave our basketball teams where they are. UConn is an all in school.

A non ND independent would go 0-12 in Division 4 if the games were inclusive of that division. There would be literally no way to compete.

If the choice is indy vs. left out of D4, we have to choose indy or we are done.
