The RPI Needs Report suggests UConn must win 10 of its last 11 to finish the regular season in the top 16, and eight of its last 11 to stay in the top 32, which suggests the most likely scenario is that they will wind up in the 20s — and that could make it hard for them to host. And it’s worth noting that UConn is not technically in first place in the Big East; at 8-3, it trails Creighton by a half-game.
