The number of seasons is largely irrelevant...it's the quality of competition. During the first 20 years a lot of these schools, including UCONN, played HS teams, military teams and other non-intercollegiate competition. You would have to look closely at the early records of all these teams and discount all the HS and other non-intercollegiate wins. UCONN was still playing Windham HS and other non-intercollegiate opponents as recently as the decade from 1910-1920.
