Not a fan of it w/ o-line liability - it didn't work w/ Boyle but BS decison making has become worse each week. Lots of room for second guessing here being only 3 games left in season. Go big or go home I guess.

My gut is telling me that after such a definitive statement earlier about not doing it - someone/something changed Diaco's mind for him.

I'm conflicted. As a coach, I've always believed in the philosophy of "the best player plays", and if they think Williams is the best, so be it. It could be the move that saves a push toward a bowl game.

Or, it could needlessly blow a redshirt for no marked improvement or worse. We'll find out very soon. Good luck, Donovan!!!

If you don't want season tix to drop from 12k to 7-8k this offseason you have to give the fans something to keep renewing instead of just assuming they will off a crap season
