What, no WCU too?
.... seems like the only way to go is to schedule Western Carolina, and North Carolina Central in the future.
Geno quote to Kiah: "You're a starter, start paying like one". Ok, he hasn't actually said that yet, but he will. Then she will respond.I know some won't agree, but I really think she will take that next big step.
What if Stewart is another 10-15% better. And KML loses a few lbs and is in great shape playing like a first team AA. And Jefferson is even more improved. We're losing two AAs. The offense runs thru Dolson and she is the leading rebounder. Bria is the second leading scorer. And Uconn will not be as good as this year's legendary team. That said-yes we will go undefeated and eventually break the 90 consecutive wins streak the following year.
Crap, I knew I forgot something. What if Banks is back to playing like she was right before the injury?
I wouldn't count too much on incoming freshmen even if that includes AW. Geno doesn't. I think the bigger concern or impact would come from a healthy Tuck. If she is healthy she is a player that can play many roles. If Chong doesn't step it up or Banks become more consistent we could see a starting lineup of Stewart, Stokes, KML, Tuck and Jefferson.Agreed. Without Wilson, we'll still be very good next year. Her absence becomes more critical after Stewie leaves. If A'ja comes, next year's team will be fabulous. Without Tuck and Williams, we'll be missing depth, which could become a problem.
The range from best case scenario to worst case is large in one sense and small in another. If we have a healthy A'ja, Gabby, and Morgan, the team is in the conversation for the best team ever. If none of them plays at all, we are still excellent, but thin, and could lose a couple of games.
What if Banks is back to playing like she was right before the injury?
If healthy we will have 3 of the 5 best players in wcbb, plus the best defensive center, plus the best sixth man. If healthy I only see two teams with more than a remote chance to beat us--nd and unc. Injuries are always a wild card, especially if it's at 4/5. But all in all odds are we go undefeated and the IUGFWCBB? meme will run wild.
