remember how great the ACC was going to be after the last raid?
"two BCS bids per year", never once even a consideration. As a matter of fact, their football as been remarkably unremarkable since then.
ACC hoops? the worst it's ever been
Miami's athletics declined considerably. BC is a cellar dweller. V Tech, a few decent years in football. None of the programs improved.
In the meantime, the BEAST became to strongest it's ever been in both major sports.
I don't like Cuse leaving, Pitt I'm less concerned about. But suffice to say, things don't seem to work out the way the planners are planning. Conventional wisdom is rarely wise.
There is no doubt in my mind that we will land on our feet and that we will be successful. A merger with the B12 or an invite into the B10 seem most likely.
But whatever comes our way, we'll be fine. I have no doubt, we have too much going for us

and at the end of the day, we are a basketball school. That's a fact, and that's what our fans are most concerned about
