I’m more interested in seeing the versatility in this roster. Azzi, Ash, Sarah, Allie, and Blanca. Positionless basketball.

I read that KK has a nasal fracture, in other words, a broken nose. I wonder if her nose ran into Yannas head. I know the practices are harder than the games, but must we also have to endure injuries because we have been lucky so far in games? This is one thing about the BE, we don't have to rush these players back. Please girls, heal fast please. LOL

I'm pretty sure that came from a Geno interview, where he made fun of the Big Fish name and said she was more like a guppy. It suggests that the team transformed this to Gup-Gup, complete with fish face gestures. I actually see this as a mark of respect.

There is a Holiday Inn in Suva, but I'm not staying there - although we did have a couple of beers in the bar a couple of days ago!

Looking at the tape on her chest, and bearing in mind she got whacked in the ribs earlier, I wonder if she had a rib or ribs dislocated from the sternum. It's called a costochondral separation

I believe that if K9 had any of her ribs dislocated from her sternum that the medical staff would not let her play for safety reasons.

K9 is the preference she indicated in an interview. I gather she’s liked it long before coming to Storrs. I’m not a teammate, so I usually refer to her as Kayleigh — it’s a cool name too. I love her game and really enjoy watching her play. Go, K9!

The only thing I worry about is that though she’s a really tough aggressive player, she isn’t tougher than KK and Ash. I wonder if the three of them aren’t inadvertently inspiring each other to ever more aggressive feats of dering-do.

So what I was curious about is Geno started Allie on Wed vs. K9 which made me wonder if that was due to K9's lack of practice time since the fall, reward to Allie for all her hard work, a combo of both and what he would do tomorrow vs. Seton Hall is KK is still unavailable. To me, we need a true point guard on the floor to start the game and get everyone settled. Then Sarah can do her thing and thrive when K9 is taken out.

Not for me! The game is at 0430 Sunday. Because time zones - we're on UTC +12. AND that's the wrong game - that's the time for the Seton Hall game. We've been travelling around the island from Suva to Nadi, with no internet on the way, so I'm only just catching up.
