I walked down the stairs this morning. At nearly 55 years old, that carries with It a major risk. Who am I kidding……having MS, putting my socks on carries with it a major risk.

As far as I'm concerned the biggest risk is that we may need to open our wallets in the near future to buy a bigger trophy case.

I think there are bigger stories on risks taken at St St John's and Arkansas that would also provide quite a bit of entertainment when looking at when their coaches didn't necessarily follow the straight and narrow path.

Not a terrible piece. Unlike some of the national pundits, the authors actually discussed the positives along with the negatives. The reality is that this kind of piece could be written about most state-funded FBS institutions outside of the upper echelons of the SEC and Big 10.

I’m not going to read this incendiary click bait nonsense, that said, save for his occasional sideline antics against horrifically bad officials, Dan Hurley is a squeaky clean model coach whose never done anything remotely wrong off the court. He’s as minimal a risk as any coach out there.

Similar to how how Uconn saw it's spike in popularity under Calhoun. The positives of the Hoops ripple effect stretch deep and the investment is worth every penny, for now. Just another piece suggesting that long term we need to get out of the BE.

This portal season will be an interesting test to the economics - once we start seeing issues retaining our top returners because of $$ is the point where panic button hits. You can only get so creative when $$ fully drive the talent bus.

You could probably find articles on both of the topics you mention. Regardless, what one person writes in USA Today doesn't positively or negatively impact UConn's future prospects, so I don't understand the outrage
