I though the article was fine. The only statement I had an issue with was referring to the WNBA's Connecticut Sun as a "major professional sports team." That's a hot take if I've ever seen one!

once we start seeing issues retaining our top returners because of $$ is the point where panic button hits. You can only get so creative when $$ fully drive the talent bus.

Spot on. No need to panic yet, but when future Ball's start hitting the portal instead of coming back for another season, then we will have entered Panic City (not on an one-off basis, but as semi-expected portal entries).

Being create around returning veteran talent is one thing, needing to routinely be creative enough to come up with a talent like junior-season Ball is quite another.
