Why the DePaul game was great for Uconn

sorry Roundball...somehow my post got embedded in yours....in any event, your observation on Mo controlling the second half pace was spot on. It probably was a result of a classic Geno halftime adjustment. I got the sense that Depaul's first half pace of play presented a personal challenge to MO. It was almost as if she said to herself...." if Depaul thinks they are playing fast thenjust watch this!!! She then put it in ultra high gear and candidly, it was disruptive to UCONN's flow and effectiveness. Perhaps that is a learning for Mo. having said that, not sure we will face another team this year with DePaul's style of play.

Depaul played great they had a game plan uconn had to adjust to. The only reason I knew Depaul wouldn't win was because of their defense. If uconn wasn't turning the ball over they was scoring at will. If we play them again we will beat them by 30 even with the 5 players in 5 players out I still seen fatigue in the second half with alot of shots falling short but besides there tiredness we had a long trip to Chicago from Tennessee and played at home on Saturday. Guaranteed we will be ready for ND though
