Why so long for a timeout in the 1st half...?

I do not hate ollie or want him fired.. one simple question. Why wait so long to call a timeout in the 1st half when ku was running over us. To big of a hole to get out of

I was thinking the same thing and also during the second half when we got it down to 9 and they went ahead by about 15 again. He'll get better. People have to realize that he's still learning.

Same thoughts here. Self took a good timeout in the second half after we went on a run, they responded with a couple of baskets.

To keep this same narrative, why do we only make adjustments at halftime? They (the staff) obviously see issues, why are often not implemented until we've already dug a hole? Very frustrating. The timeout/time management thing I can understand as something that is learned with experience. But seeing an issue and doing nothing about it is something else.

I posted before the game that KO needed to take a TO if we got behind by more than 5 points just to refocus the team and prevent getting behind big.

I think someone has to nudge Ollie in the middle of one of these runs and suggest a time out.

I don't remember a UConn team that was prone to these huge runs in the past and it seems like he tried to wait them out with some pretty poor results.

Calhoun seemed to use 23 time outs in a game.

I've been hoping to see at least a sample of sideline antics coming from Calhoun's playbook all year. I know Kevin's a different guy but I'd like to see some more demonstrative displeasure during these offensive funks they get into.

This is the only one thing that comes to my mind when we are getting killed, Other than this, I have no complaints about Ollie.
