Why isn’t Diggins playing?

It’s weird that you think a guy consistently committing 3-4 fouls in a 10-15 minute period is not detrimental to winning, and that he should play more.

The only reason he wasn’t in danger of fouling out was they limited his minutes. He was averaging a foul every 4-5 minutes. What was going to happen if they put him back in, just by magic he would stop fouling?

Talk about people missing the forest for the trees. The point is it's a pattern across multiple years and different groups of young/old players and even Hurley has acknowledged this tendency, and now we are seeing it play out again this year with a guy he said has "wall potential", and a player who seems to have the precise skillset skillet(small, quick, creative lead guard) that we are sorely lacking.

Should Sanogo have played more than 9-10 minutes if he had 2-3 fouls. Yes. Did Hurley openly admit it? Yes. Should Whaley have played his sophomore year instead of (checks notes) Eric cobb? Yes. Did Hurley acknowledge it? Yes. So why is the bootlicker brigade all defensive?

People have strengths and weaknesses, it's ok to point them out. Hurley more than anyone is a growth mindset kinda coach, embracing his own development - and somebody should tell them this is a problem for him to work on.

Dude is good. If he's gonna get us to his stated goal of a champ level squad he's gotta be great.

It's weird you think not having by far the best offensive post player on the court is a good thing.
