Because we had 9 points in the first 12 minutes. Might as well see if maybe he can take advantage of a chance to jump start us (we were playing terrific D, but all we had on offense at that point was a Boat banked in three). Not like we were sitting someone who was shooting well.

He had 2 jumpers go in and out, its not like he bricked them
Who cares if they went in and out, he hasn't made a shot in 3 months. His missed shots and awful drive led to a Cincy run, I like the kid but he gives us nothing this year.

TO has given us valuable minutes in view of our 5's propensity to foul.
He is the third option. What do you expect from your 3rd option.
OC should have redshirted but since he didn't there is always hope.

The drive he beat his man and got all the way to the rim before help got there and it looked like there was a lot of contact. Just didn't get the call. Same thing happened to Bazz/Boat/DD on drives. if he gets to the line, it's a chance to see the ball go in a couple times, maybe.

I have no problem with any of the four plays he was involved in - that drive, his two threes, or the drive and kick to Boat. He can't go out there and be a shrinking violet afraid to miss or afraid to make a play. But I also have no problem with the zero minutes in the second half - he got a chance, ball wouldn't go for him, so we went elsewhere. If he knocks a couple down, then maybe see if he can keep it going.

Glad your not coaching! I'm struggling on how to respond to this so I'm just going to fiercely grit my teeth!!!!

This is a disgusting post. You don't give up on these kids. It's fair game to evaluate their performance but it's lame to just rag on them.

Coach has decided to keep giving him a shot which I am OK with. Banishing him to the bench is not the right thing to do. If he had got it going a little he may have seen some time in the 2nd half. The whole team is shooting poorly for the last 4 games so he's got company.
