Why don't we ever get the advantage from the hometown play clock.

Great question. Seems like every long time football program in the country has a clock operator that understands the value of a couple seconds here and there. I don't know why we dont.
 
Are you implying a team can’t get 6o yards down field, lineup, and snap the ball in 1 second?
 
Watching the highlights, it was almost 2 seconds after snap before the clock hit 0. How is that even possible when its supposed to start on the officials signal?
 
Last head coach we had proved you can be on the 1 yard line on 2nd down with 17 seconds left & 1 TO and only get 1 play off. So anything's possible. But I digress . . .


Lol, if Diaco were Tulsa's coach, he would have called a play with a motion man on that last play.
