Why does Samuels Ever take a 3???

Seriously, I've never seen a worse jump shot from a guard. How do you play as a guard for more than half your life and never learn how to shoot a j?

He needs to take a step in...just like Dirty Harry said, "a man needs to know his limitations "

Unfortunately, his game is all about limitations.

They weren't even pretending to guard him. Maybe just showing that he will take one is enough for the D to not cheat so much. With him on the court, against a zone, we are truly playing 4 v 5.

I believe that he's something like 0 for 15 from three this year. not making that up...

This is the type of game that Lubin can help the team out, and to his credit he has done a decent job out there putting a body on their big men

He has zero confidence in his shot. He passes up wide open 15-17 footers all the time. You really can't play a lot for this team if you're never going to shoot. Makes it too tough on everyone else.

He's due. They leave hm alone at the arc. He will make someone pay. The next one goes in.

Didn't he only take one with the shot clock winding down? I didn't have any confidence it would go down, and he probably didn't as well, but he had to take the shot.

I've been thinking the same thing, but damn he looks uncomfortable shooting. Makes Taliek Brown look like Ray Allen.

Stop ripping on Samuel. Hes had a rough year we all know he is not the most talented guard in the world. And tonight? He had to take that shot he was wide open and the shot clock was at 3 or less. Give the kid time to develop he will be a solid contributor his last two years.

I do love logging on here after the best win of the year (maybe second to SMU) and the first post I see is one ripping someone on our team.

He should only play 5 minutes a game to give RB a rest. He is so limited on offense and cant be hidden like he was on last years team.

In Samuel's defense, he did a great job inbounding the ball down the stretch and made me look like an idiot for criticizing KO for picking TSam for the task.

I think if he looks to drive when its there hes actually pretty good attacking the basket. Play d,drive when its there and look for the open man and he`ll be pretty good for us. He needs to play to his strengths.
