It’s a thoughtful explanation of where UConn football stands, with some good quotes from AD DB. If anything I felt an optimistic tone.

The best written article about the reasons why FCS is not the answer. Highlighted Idaho and UConn with a sprinkle of New Mexico State and talk of the MAC. Talked about buy games (some schools are getting $1.75M per game) and travel costs. UConn's schedule is head and shoulders above all those teams. There truly is a bunch of different groupings in College Football: The Heavyweights and include Notre Dame, the rest of P5, the BYU UConn and Army, AAC, the rest of the G5 and then those who want to win at FCS and then the rest of FCS. If you can't be in the rest of P5(and that is because of the TV money), UConn is in the next best spot.
