Who's your adopted tourney team?

The America 12 and any team that shows you can succeed without a strong conference behind it.
 
I think it would be great for our soon to be named conference if Temple or Memphis won, so I am rooting for them. But they aren't making it to the Sweet 16 barring extremely favorable matchups.

But for one thing, Miami will crumble before the Elite 8.
 
Indiana (took a course there three years ago), Zaga, SDSU (no chance to do well this year...reckless style of play... But I' did get an MPH from SDSU), anyone playing Dook, Syrabuse or Kensucky (hopefully they won't make it)

If Lundardi current projection came true (it won't), Cincy would be looking good - more or less all home games to the FF (they'd get Indiana in Dayton, then GTown or Florida in Indy).
 
1. Gonzaga - especially this year with John Stockton's kid and the Olynyk.
2-5. Baylor, New Mexico, Butler, VCU - no real reason.
 
Kansas Jayhawks. I'm pretty lucky that way.

But a reminder to folks rooting against the Big East, we will get $ from their tournament shares.
 
Who cares, I will not watch a game. The NCAA screws us and you support them?

My dirty secret is that I love college basketball no matter who's playing and I'll watch every game. Still, recent developments have given me a hate list longer than Nixon's. Sad, because I used to root for any Big East team not named Notre Dame.

So who can I root for?

Anyone seeded 14 and below
Iowa State (parents' school)
Georgetown (wife's school)
Michigan State (Izzo)
St. Louis (you had me at old man basketball)

Teams I can't root for on principle:
Duke
Kentucky
Syracuse

Can't root for teams who will equal or move ahead of us in National Championships:
Louisville
Kansas
Michigan State
Cincinnati

Can't root for teams that we recruit heavily against:
UNC

Generally, that means I can pull for teams have way more titles than us that aren't UK, KU, UNC, Duke, which includes only UCLA and IU.

Or teams that can't tie or pass us.

My preference is for teams like Butler, VCU, Gonzaga, New Mexico, etc.
 
IU, I went their for grad school. That also means I am cheering against Ville in the finals because I want IU to be in the Midwest, where they should sail to the FF.
 
Lord of The Flies Scenario with the Big East and ACC, then a meteor strikes the last two teams standing.

None. I haven't watched a single second of the Big East Tournament and I won't watch a single second of the NCAA Tournament either. I hold grudges. World Baseball Classic and Spring Training baseball for me these days.

Well, I'll naturally be rooting for IU and Cincy since they're also schools I've been to. I don't think either have a shot in winning the tourney.

I'm gonna root for the mid-majors. Butler, VCU, St. Louis. If there is any year a mid-major wins the tourney, it's this year. No clear-cut #1 team in the country. It's up for grabs!
 
Not Syracuse, can't root for a team of choking dogs. I will root against all current BE teams, except for Cincy. I will root for Pitino to hit on Boeheim's wife tonight at some restaurant.

Any mid major would be good in my opinion. I am not rooting for any Big East team "though I was happy Cuse got beat" by Louisville.

For some reason I've always liked Wisconsin in both football and basketball, so I'm going with the badgers. They are definitely a team you do not want to play against.
