The last time I recall upsetting AZ on the road was in 2002. I missed the game so I could go antiquing in Vermont - certainly not my choice. I had to demonstrate I could go a weekend without a husky game.

I will feel a bit guilty, if my absence from VT causes a bad outcome. I plan on imbibing sacreds and wings in large quantity, to appease the powers that be.

Not to hijack the thread but I was wondering what beverage people might associate with UConn hoops. I was drinking Hacker Pschorr weiss the night of UConn-Clemson and the Burrell to Tate play. I don't drink weiss beer that often but when I do I always think of that game.

Probably Boulevard and Free State Brewing (great stuff). Haven't been there since 1999. I'm in Massachusetts. I'll drink the best beer I can find if at a bar, or at home, probably Trillium.

You don't get motor oil from RR? I swear it tastes like there is Penzoil in there.

My local watering hole bought a case of bottles on my request in March 2014. That's all I drank when I watched games there. I probably had 12 of them. They still had a couple in the cooler months later which I took of their hands out of guilt. I'm not wasting the mojo on a non-tournament game.

Been drinking Wess Beer for years. I took my training for 5 years in Germany. Hefe Weissen. Franz. I get the real deal here. 16 oz bottles. That is my sacred

I tried but the local establishment would have nothing to do with RR's. So I went with a combo of Bud Lights and Captain/Diets (couple shots Jack Fire) during the game. I will ask, like Waq did above, for them to prep a case or so for me, I believe I/we do spend enough for this to happen and I do golf with the manager, so good idea.
