The other day, I tossed out a mild challenge to Boneyarders to "bet" (honor system) on several over/under potential stats. Here are the results.
Over/under scores: PS 60, UConn 75. Actual: PS 59, UConn 77. So you won with the PSU under (by one) and the over with UConn (by two). Not a bad job of handicapping.
Both KML and Lucas, 15 points. Lucas hit it but KML was a tad short (but 11 rebounds).
Simmons, 12 FGA. She jacked up 18.
Gray, 7 Assists. She had 4 (plus 8 steals).
Griner, 5 blocks. She hadd 6.
Novosel, 12 FT. Refs swallowed their whistles.
Tiff hitting the deck, 4. I counted 7.
And the arena was chilly, so Geno kept his jacket on.
All in fun and nobody lost any money.
I'll look into my chrystal ball before Tuesday's game.
