Will CBS and Turner keep the tournament?

Will ESPN finally get involved?

It will likely be on 14 different streaming services by 2033. Every game will be bought and sold individually to highest bidder.

In 2033 our 11th National Championship run will be broadcast on CBNBESOX

You want us to worry about who will hold TV rights for something starting 8 years in the future? Reallly?

I don’t have a life, but even I have more of a life than that.
As usual the lawyer has a good retort. 😉
Not sure how to explain it but a tournament that’s not on CBS just doesn’t compute in my brain
They have therapy for this type of syndrome. ESPN has been doing a great job with the Little League baseball and softball tournament.

Love your optimism for what we may be seeing on TV eight years from now. As a daily reader and watcher of news this brightens my day.

My guess is that the year 32 contract is going to be split up into tiers and streaming companies like Amazon and Netflix will want a piece of the pie.

They probably get early games and probably ESPN, CBS and Fox get the higher tier sweet 16 to title games.

That number might be close to $1.8 to $2 billion of not more.

The NCAA pays 60 percent of that revenue into performance funds which are then broken down into units.

And units roll for multi years, so winning gives a conference payments much like dividends.

UCnn's titles earned the Big East a boat load money

The fans who jump through hoops and ladders to watch on streaming platforms make this possible. If fans simply didn't watch games on streaming platforms it would all crash and go back to normal.
