What a branding synergy! They could put one of those cute little shops where you can buy fake old time Americana made in China in front of the main gate to Thompson-Boling Arena. You have hit upon the ultimate solution! :D

Cracker Barrel! The folks who served a woman a bowl of tomato soup with a dead mouse in it. I avoid those places as if they're quarantined by the FDA.

Yeah, but I bet it was a good old country mouse! Honestly, there are few chains that do not have some horror story from some store somewhere.

A good friend of mine was served a meal for lunch at a DT Houston restaurant with pieces of broken glass in it. I'll admit I'm more paranoid than your average restaurant customer. I almost died from gastroenteritis one time...fever of 106.

Agreed. I think if Harper is the pick we'll be doing this all over again in 4-5 years.

Harper's kids couldn't beat a Stanford team that pretty much hibernated all evening. Worst women's basketball game I've seen all the way through in many a moon. And during prime Eastern Time, so not exactly hidden away from those with no respect for the women's game. Jackie Stiles, who destroyed Stanford -- with offense -- must have struggled to put a positive spin on what took place. Harper would be perfect for the Tenn tradition if you hate Tenn.

Harper's husband has been her assistant coach for many years but that would not be allowed at Tennessee because of the nepotism law. That could be a stumbling block. The Tenn softball team has a wife and husband as co-head coaches so that is a way around the law.

Wellllll, if Geno Auriemma is considered shady by the Vol faithful (and he is) then Jeff Walz can't pass their tests either.
Nor, probably any other male coach not named Tyler---loooooool
:D
