Who retains the Big East history?

Ok, next year, the C-7 plus 3, plus name leave for their new conference and Georgetown win their conference and tourney. At the same time, Uconn wins our (name formerly BE) conference.

Is there still a Big East conference to add records too. Who adds on to the BE conference records. That is another reason we don't want to sell the name. Unfortuately, I think they will claim they are still the BE eventhough they left the conference.

I should have been clearer. Who will add to the BE history? Will Georgetown get one more regular season championship or will UConn when someone looks up who won the most championships 20 years from now?

I imagine the C7 will get it. Georgetown will shortly double UConn's BE championships in that league.

As far as I am concerned, the league is done after this year. 20 years from now we will still hold the most regular season and tournament championships combined. Without us, everyone else is off the hook.

If that's the case, then the C-7 didn't leave, they basically kicked the rest of us out. That's why we shouldn't sell the name or really sell them the conference.
