Purvis always plays at an MVP level, just not always for the right team. However, I think he's gotten over the hump. He's being more selective about his shots, he's always squared up now when shooting, and he's limited his dribbling, but still takes it to that hole enough to keep the D off balance.

Purvis is great as a spot-up 3-point shooter.

When he doesn't try to do more than that, he's an asset. When he does, he's an asset to the other team.
