Who’s the best shooter at uconn

Before her injury, it was Azzi, but with the game on the line, it is Paige. We don't know how well either one will shoot next year(season). I already miss Lou.
 
If you look at the college career stats: FG%, 3pt%, FT%

Azzi 45.7/39.6/90.1
Paige 53.0/43.4/83.0
KLS 49.1/41.6/84.7
KML 48.6/44.7/87.4
LLS 43.4/39.1/83.2 (only Fairfield data)
LLS 47.6/44.0/85.4 (UConn)

So it is Paige on field goals, Kaleena on 3’s, and Azzi on free throws! LLS is 44.6 on field goals, not 11 as list (strangely) shows.

Great stats but they don't tell the story when the game is on the line. Just ask Jenna Johnson from Utah. When the pressure is ripe, it's Paige, Paige, Paige!

I think Paige's game is much more complete than either of those fantastic shooters (KML and KLS), so she's not necessarily going to be remembered for (only) shooting three pointers.

Lou seemed as good as we have seen. And, in games, she was far better than Azzi or anyone that played for UCONN this season. According to Geno, the best shooter ( in practice contests ) was often Caroline.

KML and KLS 4 year numbers. KLS often played point.
 
Kaleena may be the best shooter I've seen, but Sue's stats were actually better.

For her career, Sue shot .481/.459/.892. Kaleena shot .486/.447/.874.

I still believe what I thought a few years ago. Paige was a great shooter, but Azzi was slightly better. Azzi hasn't been healthy enough to show it. Steph Curry puts Azzi in a group with Klay Thompson and Ray Allen.
 
This year it was Lou. During the early part of the season when Azzi was in the NPOY conversation, Lou was shooting nearly (and sometimes over) 50% from 3. Even though she “dipped” to 44% for the year, Lou was the best bet when we needed a bucket. For next year, Paige, Paige, and still Paige. If Azzi proves me wrong, I will be a very happy fan since that would mean that we had two of our all time best in the same season. All time, however, if we needed a basket I want DT.
 
Paige hasn't been 100% since she injured her knee against ND a couple years back. With that said when she has been in the game she has shown no situation is too big for her and she has the ability to hit the dagger shot when needed. I have also watched a lot of her workout videos on YouTube and she is a terrific shooter when practicing too. I would say she is the person who can carry the load and has a great shot.

Azzi is also a very good shooter. She really hasn't had the opportunity to play with someone who takes all the attention away from her and lets her be her. I think when Paige and Azzi are both on the floor you will see the two best pure shooters in the country accel. I fully expect one of them, maybe both to break the single season scoring average if they are healthy for a whole season.

Playing alongside Lou this year not good enough?

Paige almost doesn't belong in the conversation, because she missed the entire season. She may well be the best. Hopefully, we get to see that ( again).
 
I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised at how broad Azzi's shooting game is. When she's really feeling it you'd swear she is never going to miss. However, Paige has greater flexibility in finding her shot and is comfortable with a broader range of shots.
