Since this poll is still up for voting... i had to change my vote to write-in.

Hard to say this year. I picked Louisville since they're always tough, though I just checked and saw they barely beat Belmont so I'd probably choose Texas or Notre Dame. NC State should be good too. Iowa State/Iowa have had close wins over inferior opponents which drops them, but too early to lock anyone in. At this point I think of SC/Stanford as clear cut #1/#2 and UCONN has number 3 locked in right now but I think there's a big gap between them and the top 2.
it's startin to look the other way around after today's performances, although SC has to be #1 until somebody beats them

Hard to say IMO...UCONN looked great today but playing NC State at home is a lot different than playing against SC or Stanford. Not as many high profile games this year and both SC/Stanford have pretty light schedules ahead. SC's next ranked foe is at UCONN in February and the SEC doesn't look good this year. Stanford realistically could win out the rest of the way as the Pac 12 also looks weak and their only ranked non conference games include Tennessee (who might not be ranked soon) and Creighton.

Seriously who is #4?
Right now (and I think this is how its going to be for the rest of the season) its a total crapshoot, I could easily see the voters picking Iowa State this upcoming week. A certain poster may not like this but I have UNC and Notre Dame fighting for that spot. Hard not to make an argument for Ohio State/Indiana/Virginia Tech however...

The problem is that none of these teams have played anyone so far so all the gaudy 4-0, 5-0 etc records really mean little. That they haven't lost is about the extent of their resume.

I dunno who that certain poster is, but I'm willing to bet that there is no way in a raging inferno that he or she would put UNC at 4 or 5. just an educated guess, no inside info. I'm also willing to bet that he or she is a wonderful human being as well.

Write In: UConn.

Ranked Indiana #3 in my BY poll submission.

There will be a lot more clarity on PAC-12 over the next 10 days. I would suggest that UTAH & UCLA will be ranked higher in the next couple of polls.

Might be Iowa State.

Soares addresses their former interior deficiencies and then some.

I can envision Austen Powers holding Chremes head in the toilet asking him. Who's number four, who's number four.

7 viable choices, Indiana, Ohio St, Va Tech, UCLA , Creighton, North Carolina and Utah for the for #4 spot.
Can't entertain Notre Dame until they play a team in the top 30 or so (They haven't played a team in the top 60 yet, as per Massey, #'s 106, 65, 61, 135 and 266).
Though it's better than LSU !
(#'s 308, 345, 343, 311, 352 and powerhouse George Mason at 215). How Mulkey can justify hand picking that schedule is beyond me. Unfortunately, the poll voters have rewarded her by moving LSU up the list.

Based on quality of schedule, I would put tOSU, Indiana clearly above the others, then Iowa State, Creighton, ND, VPI, NC, Utah then UCLA.

All ratings via Massey.
Notre Dame = 61, 65,106,135 and 266.
Team X = 34, 40, 53, 171, 217 and 270.
Who played a tougher schedule so far ?
Hint: Utah

Creighton in a war. 46-46 to Xavier. 2+ minutes left in 4th Q

Ohio St #4
