I'm rooting for Whitmer. I thought he got dealt a raw deal...GDL's blocking schemes and coaching left him open to be abused like a rag doll. It takes a lot to do what he did and come back...it shows what he is made of.

Whitmer seems like a good kid. To my eye he definitely has talent and I agree that P/GDL were so grossly incompetent that nobody was going to be successful in their scheme. It would not shock me if Whitmer ends up playing a key role this season and really surprises folks. He also has very good wheels and brings that element to his game in a way I don't think either Cochran or Boyle can.

Wants to go to a bowl whether he plays or holds the clipboard - make it happen.
