I'm with Chief on this, who wants to own white stuff. I payed a gaziliion billion dollars for the seat donation and I am not spending another nickel on a white husky shirt that I will spill salsa on and never wear again. I will be that one guy in a blue sweatshirt in a sea of white (maybe) on t.v. Why not a blue out?

Wear a white long sleeve underneath it. A blue out would have been easier circa Louisville in 2014
Now why would UConn do something like that?

Honestly I’m starting to think UConn is doing a white out to sell more white shirts. Almost everything I own and wear to games is blue.

When things go bad we pick on everything. But I agree on a few points. 1. If you want an apparel event, plan and market it early. 2. Why isn't a sponsor providing tees? (if planned earlier this may have been possible) 3. We are mostly associated with the color blue so it should be a blue out.

Everybody talking Blue, but Florida is also Blue.

Speaking of blue, of the teams winning multiple national championships (15), 8 feature blue as their primary color, 2 feature green, 4 red, one orange.

In football however, Red dominates.

Licensing and branding doesn’t allow the marketing department to do T-shirt giveaways. And sponsors don’t want to pay for T-shirt’s anymore. On top of that the entire full time marketing staff recently left.

Why would that be?
