Which game will we see the alternate uniforms?

I think the buzz in such a big deal for UCONN football.. We've stunk for a few years now after starting off pretty well at the FBS level... We need to start winning then stuff like this will have more appeal.. I"m sure a younger fan base can attest to that.. Who's ever been like myself, supporting this jump since we started this thing with Edsall, have to realize that that was then this is now... things have changed a lot.. my two cents...

The real question is...Will there be an alternate helmet to match the grey uniform? Chrome? Gun metal? Flat? Black? Red? with alternate logo?

I actually never even considered that until I saw Tennessee's new grey lid... Could be really cool!

It would have to be for the home game against ECU. Night game etc., creates more buzz. That's the logical choice, which means it is not likely.

If it came from the UConn Football Account or the School account I'd be more likely to believe it. Coming from the Rentschler Field site makes me suspicious.

Maybe the final uniform surprise is the alt unis are actually our home unis.

On a more serious note maybe there will be mannequins with the unis to allow selfies.

Or maybe the tweet about the unis belongs on the CR board in the Non Key Tweet thread.

Doesn't make any difference to me who the opponent is when UConn dons the alternate greys, as long as a W is posted in the win-loss column in the Huskies favor. I remember when the fuss was made over one of the hoops teams wearing grey. They lost at the Civic Center & afterward there was a clamor to publicly burn those unis. (think it was the Women vs. the Lady Leprechauns).
