Losses are losses. But while I’m not sure of the health status of the teams we lost to, or not that we would beat them now, but UConn has changed a lot since then, with the unfortunate new twist of Aubrey . Since those losses to now high ranked teams, UConn has adjusted to the injured players, the freshmen have advanced a lot and Paige is finding her stride. we are not nearly the same.

Has anybody else played 8 ranked teams this season besides UConn. I considered NC State ranked because they were by Massey from the very beginning. The other polls are more or less opinion polls until at least a couple of games are played.

Uconn's games of being beaten are over.The way the team and Freshmen have improved is tremendous and I believe that Uconn will ,in a hard fought and tight game beat the Gamecocks in February,as we will have 2 months to prepare the best defense in Women's BB for the Gamecocks. My argument for Uconn defense is since the Texas loss , they have held 7 teams,(3 ranked) 15/20% below their averages as their defense has started to gel. Uconn's speed and tenacity has proven effective and can only get better. Our scoring is a given at 90+ a game in the 7 wins.
