I feel like E8 games are always more exciting when the regions are well balanced.

Whom should we avoid? That's easy.

We don't want Baylor or Mississippi State, since we don't want to compete with their bigs. We don't want Oregon. who beat that huge, terrifying Mississippi State team. We don't want ND, with our unfortunate 1-4 pre-championship-game record against them. We don't want Stanford-they beat us even when we had Stewie, and they beat Baylor who beat us. We don't want Gonzaga, Utah, or a greatly improved Cal, teams which beat that Stanford team who beat Baylor who beat us. We don't want North Carolina or Miami, who beat Notre Dame, or any of the nine teams who beat North Carolina or the five who beat Miami, who beat a full-strength Notre Dame, our nemesis, who beat Louisville who beat us. We don't want Auburn, Texas, Kansas State, Iowa State, Oklahoma State or TCU, all of whom had a much easier time subduing Oklahoma than we did. We don't want James Madison, Butler, Marquette or Villanova, none of whom had all the problems that we had with St. Johns.
