I knew she would do well. All the loud noises about the athleticism and vaunted defense in the WNBA were, well, loud noises. If you watched here in high school you knew she had moves that would take care of a lot of traffic. But, lordy, her game has been a symphony. Seems that with Geno back in Storrs she was set free to rock and roll, and did she ever.

Definitely my favorite female player ever... Here game appears complete, but here's the best part... I'm 100% certain Paige would say she has room to get better.

And I think she will do just that.

I have watched every WNBA game Paige has played in, and I was truly amazed how well she was able to navigate against the best players in the world. Well, Paige just joined them in that respect.

The WNBA just released their postseason awards schedule where a national panel of sportswriters and experts will select players, coaches and team executives for 13 different awards. The all-rookie team will be announced on September 29. The dates for 12 of 13 awards are set.

For some reason, the date for the official league ROY award is TBD. Last year CC was announced as the ROY in early October. Presumably Paige will be named around the same time. The WNBA ROY is sponsored by Kia, and perhaps the official date of the award has to be coordinated with some type of presentation with Kia, subject to Paige’s availability. Maybe Paige gets a car? 🤩

So much unhappiness these days. But I'm holding on to the Paige happiness factor. Took me here today: It seems Dallas has surrendered to Paige's autograph seeker. No more mayhem at the tunnel. Opened up the whole floor!

Paige has always been so good with her supporters and it is so nice to see a person who is a great hero to so many young people. Watching their unbridled joy when she signs something makes it all worth while.

To be honest, I just feel like it's been a done deal for over half the season so not sure it needed a thread to debate. Iriafan had an early flash but then leveled off and Paige just kept truckin'.....

Around here we all pretty much feel the same, but the Mystics coach and others kept pounding the drum for Irafien and Citron. And frankly the WNBA is so twisted, I never put anything past them. I didn't feel I could relax until the 44 point work of art, and even then I was a little uneasy.
