This. I don't want to to sound over zealous, but Arkeel is clearly a big time player. He needs to touch the ball a lot more. He is the absolute bright spot tonight. Mariner is going to make some noise for us too.

Yup, Newsome sure has some spurtability (some idiot ESPN hoops play by play guy's past quote). Looking forward to 4 more years of Newsome, Marriner, and Johnson.

As long as Gifford is as shaky as he is, we need some one in there with a little more pass protection experience. I could see him getting a lot of touches versus some lesser teams. We had a bunch of freshman play today that made some really good contributions. That's a good sign.
