Where's Maya?

When I read that Stewie made the China WCBA all-star game, I didn't see Maya Moore anywhere. Is Maya not playing overseas this WNBA offseason? Or is she resting? Anyone know?

Good question - I have seen nothing to indicate that she has arrived in China or has suited up for Shanxi yet this year. Maybe she will only play an abbreviated season/amount after the busy summer and fall? Not sure.

Edit: In checking her twitter, it looks like she is still in the States , at least as of Jan 4 or 5. She attended Passion 2017 (an annual gathering for young adult Christians) in Atlanta.

Probably still can't get over the loss to the Sparks. With better team defense she would have had the winning basket, too (if I recall correctly). Probably resting her body but still working on her game, to come back with a vengeance. Losing doesn't sit well with Maya!
