I really give Kevin Ollie great props with his ability to get his team to play great defense year in, year out no matter who is on the roster.
The following are some coaches and teams who have been known for their defense through the years and should've had a big year this year because of finally having offensive weapons but their teams defense has been brutal;
Dan Hurley- Rhode Island
Brad Brownell- Clemson
Thad Matta- Ohio St.
John Thompson Jr.- Georgetown
Danny Manning- Wake Forest
Hurley & Brownell really stand out, they finally have the offensive firepower but now the teams defense has fell apart, really surprising and must be upsetting for those programs.
Just some thoughts...Let's go KO & Huskies!!
