Clifford Ralph Robinson (December 16, 1966 – August 29, 2020)

Health issues and death​

Robinson suffered a stroke in March 2017 that paralyzed the left side of his body, but he soon recovered much of his arm and leg movement.[47] He had a tumor removed from his jaw in March 2018.[48]

In March 2019, Robinson underwent surgery for cancer. He died of lymphoma on August 29, 2020, at the age of 53.[49][50]

I missed that and am really bummed to hear it.

His posts were genuinely entertaining most of the time, and while the language, misspellings and lack of capitalization seemed absurd, I always suspected it was intentional and he was much smarter based on the actual content of his posts.

“on the udder hand…”. lol

Yeah, I recall Spiffy arrived very shortly after Carl deleted most of his posts then disappeared.

I don't think he was Carl, but I'm not sure. I was told Carl was still part of the Discord offshoot.

I have a good friend that is a huge UConn fan and alum that could easily have written all the crazy stuff Chap/Carl/Cliff wrote. I was disappointed when I confirmed it wasn't him. I still picture him writing it whenever I read one of Cliff's posts.
