Where in Lawrence is the best place to stay near Allen Fieldhouse?

Just scored 4 tickets. So psyched to be going. Will there be anyHusky functions prior to the game?

Never been, but as a travel ninja hotel picking savant, your only acceptable option with availability for the game weekend (Th-Su) is the TownePlace Suites by Marriott Lawrence Downtown, based on a Booking.com screening. The hotel on Campus appears to be sold out. I'd hurry, the other options assuming you want to be within walking distance look like bedbug city.

Edit: The SpringHill Suites by Marriott Lawrence Downtown looks acceptable as a cheaper option but it's a longer walk to the area but still near the restaurant entertainment district.

I’m staying at Comfort Inn and Suites in Lawrence. Not far from Phogg

Quick Google search shows there's availability everywhere. There's a Hampton Inn 2 miles away from the arena. Seems all the hotels are 2 to 2.5 miles away.
