Total carat weight isn't really indicative of an expensive diamond. A solitare diamond will typically be much more expensive than a ring comprised of many smaller diamonds. The one there in the photo appears to be many smaller diamonds with a smaller center stone. Regardless you are talking thousands of dollars.

I think that rule has gone to wayside now that the median income isn’t like $30k. At least that’s how I hope my fiancé feels! I sunk a couple paychecks in and got her a very nice ring.

The more I think about this post the pissed off I am. He is 5th Year player. I can guarantee you that he paid for the ring out of his own Spartacus money. Why not go to a Ville board and ask how Brian Bowen got his ride. Or go to a UNC board and ask about scalitoing diplomas. Why post this Spartacus on a UConn board.
