Do you prefer to just learn the outcome and watch for the sake of watching, or do you try to avoid spoilers to whatever extent possible so you can watch in suspense?

Knowing I have to be up circa 3am Wednesday morning, the wisest version of me would not stay up for the Florida game…

I think I’m gonna attempt not to learn anything, but I might find out passively just by being at work. There’s also a chance I’ll just stay up and watch it at the cost of being tired all day Wednesday…

Some times I peek at the outcome before I watch the game the following day if I fall asleep the night before and miss a game. If they lost the previous night I don't want to go through all the anguish just for the suspense. Helps with blood pressure 😀

If I can't watch live, I watch early the next morning before my alarm and then rush through the morning routine.

For example, knowing the Florida game is the second of a double header, I'll likely start watching at 5 AM on Wednesday and then be done by 6:15ish.

Depends on the game. If it's East Texas A&M then whatever, just check the score. If it's a big game I'll try to watch as soon as I can without knowing the outcome.

Not looking forward to the inevitable 9:20 tip tomorrow, but that's still over before midnight barring overtime.

I had to avoid my wife who thinks dropping semi subtle hints is appropriate.

"well, I think you might be disappointed."
"well, X team must not be very good."

Finally, I just told her don't watch the games. Now, granted, I framed this by saying "I just enjoy them so much better when we're watching them together for the first time." When you've been married as long as I have, you learn that being diplomatic is the path of lease resistance.

scot-e is the type of guy if we are watching on delay at his house he'll be looking at his phone to see what's going on in real time. smh.

I rarely watch live (commercial breaks etc. drive me nuts). I typically DVR all game (the one thing that keeps me as a YouTube subscriber) and watch later in the day or early the next morning. Living in FL there is usually little chance of hearing the score.
