What a bunch of assclowns http://espn.go.com/college-sports/story/_/id/9551518/ncaa-shuts-site-jersey-sales-says-hypocritical
I have to admit this is the one dukie which have a huge amount of respect for. He's one of the smartest guys involved in basketball right now, and when he talks, everybody should listen. The dude knows what he's saying, period. Insanely high basketball IQ.
He did his best for UConn regarding the APR issue. He felt and reported it was an absolute travesty. The problem is there was too much inertia against him to help UConn. The situation with Facey is more complex. It boils down to the general public's concern with non American students taking away scholarships from Americans. I'm sure this is certainly the case for public institutions. So the NCAA can be ridiculed for the message they are sending about educated students from the British system being penalized, but that most likely will not overcome the American publics resentment concerning their taxes supporting non tax paying players.has anyone tweeted this guy yet? maybe he could help us

Then rally the general public to agree with you on this issue. Have them put the pressure on the NCAA to change things. I got nowhere with the apr issue. Didn't raise much of a pulse with the retroactive ruling. Not a hot button topic for most people. If the foreign players can outcompete the US born players in the classroom and on the court, then tough cookies imo. Give us an equivalent player/student to facey, and I won't complain.
