Princeton had on the court:

Fr. Madison St Rose
Jr Kaitlyn Chen
Jr Ellie Michell (replaced by sr Lexi Wegler with 5 seconds left)
Sr Grace Stone
Sr Julia Cunningham (replaced by Sr Maggie Connolly with 21 seconds left)

UConn had:

Fr Ines Bettencourt
So Amari DeBerry (replaced by Fr Ayanna Patterson with 21 seconds left)
So Caroline Ducharme
Jr Aaliyah Edwards
RS-Jr Aubrey Griffin

That inexperienced crew held a bunch of upperclassmen scoreless; Ines got Julia Cunningham to foul out which put her at the free throw line where she made 1 of 2. When UConn forced a turnover with 3 seconds left, Ines went hard to the ball (as per instructions from Geno), got fouled and made the free throws.

What an effort by a somewhat gimpy, inexperienced group!

In the post-game "presser" I saw a great bond between all
three UCONN players, but something unique between Lou Lopez
Senechal and Ines. == A Mentor and the young one. I see Lou
has being a " Mom " like Evina. Every family needs an " E " or
a Lou. NICE!

A nailbiter for sure.

Sifaka, what is the little hat over the 'e" called, and how do you type it on the computer keyboard?
There was a lengthy thread about players's name back in early Nov. Try this:
Post in thread 'The UConn players’ names - INES, not Inez'
The UConn players’ names - INES, not Inez

It's called a circumflex.

Accents are important in some languages, including Portuguese, Spanish, and others.

Pronunciation and meaning can change with the presence or absence of an accent. Example: In Spanish inglés (ing LACE) with an acute accent means English, both the language and a person from England. Take away the accent and the pronunciation changes to ING lace, and the meaning…it's groins!

If you want the simplest solution, it's in my signature on every post. :)

The good news: young/inexperienced players are being put in tough situations.

Here’s a good quote from Geno right around the start of the 2016-17 season:

Interestingly, this type of accent is sometimes referred to as "chapéu" (hat) in Portuguese.
