With Bazz being 2 and Lamb 3. Bazz ball handling is shaky, but he is a great shooter. He would even be more deadly as a 2 taking half of his shots being open coming off screens or kickouts.

As much as I like Boatright, I think we are a little too high on him at this point. He averages 1.9 TO's/game (26.4 minutes) or 2.9 TO's per 40 minutes compared to Shabazz who averages 3.4 TO's/game (35.9 minutes) or 3.8 TO's per 40 minutes. Boat can be very reckless at times too. However, he is a pretty good shooter for a PG and definitely adds a much need element in a very inconsistent offense. Both he and Bazz take a few shots per game that are extremely forced and those are as good as TO's. He is a Freshmen with only a handful of games under his belt though so don't expect too much.

This is what I have been saying and I am glad others are coming to this realization. This is the only way we reach our full potential and maximize our speed and athleticism. With Shabazz we play a slow methodical half court game which suits Shabbazz but not the rest of the players and UConn as a whole. We need to be an up tempo team as this suits UConn's style and our players style.

Shabazz is a great shooter and having him off the ball will allow him to showcase his shooting touch. We need a penetrator and quick guard with a handle in order to cause havoc to the opposing team;s defense. We do not need horizontal passes on the perimeter for 15-20 seconds and then hoisting contested 3's at the last second.

Defense especially perimeter defense is also a huge issue that needs to be addressed because last year's team was a lock to shut down opposing team's while this team is nowhere near that.
