She was obviously not herself last night. Anybody have a clue as to why?

Report was that she tweaked something and is ok.
But I think we're dooooooomed.

Upset that her individual game scoring record was broken, by KLS, at Mater Dei?

Notebook: KML on Samuelson bandwagon, SNY

“I’m a little upset,” Mosqueda-Lewis said quietly, before letting out a big laugh and a smile.

“I’m glad it went to her, someone that’s coming here to UConn and someone that’s worthy of it. Katie Lou’s done really well the three years that she’s been there.

I did see her walking back to her seat with her shoe off after getting treatment fron trainer
. This was the first time she was benched.

That can be very painful; I hope she's ok. I love watching her shoot the basketball (except in 1 game).

Just read that KML did indeed tweak her Achilles early in the St. Francis game. Hopefully it's nothing serious , she did return for a short time, or anything that lingers the rest of the tournament.

Worst I've ever seen her shoot. Wasn't even close until the last layup. Including 2 from pointblank range. I hope she gets straightened out for Rutgers.

Well if she tweaked her Achilles I hope they sit her for the next game. I think the NCAA record is dead now and her health is more important. I have horrible memories of Nykesha and that will take a year to get back. We'll need her the final week. Saniya, Kiah and Gabby can get through the first two weeks.

If there were ever a time I want J. Altavilla's words to be exactly accurate, it's in his tweets where he reports the following:

* Altavilla: "No worries," "Kaleena says the discomfort was caused by tape being too tight on her ankle to get better support in her (new) sneakers."

and in Kaleena's words, according to JA:
* Kaleena: "I was wearing new shoes and I didn't feel as if my ankles were supported well enough."
"The tape job was just too tight on the Achilles" said Kaleena. "I just got taped for the first time in a
long time."

- No more thorazine for me today. thank god.

Whew! Let's not use anything (new) ladies. The old is doing just fine. Same shoes, same shorts, same breakfast and we get that tenth NC.

I don't know. I thought athletes taped their ankles all the time. A sore Achilles doesn't sound good to me and she didn't look any better in the second half. I hope it just new shoes but Rutgers is going to be a tough defense for K. They always give her fits.

Nope - shot at the record is alive and well. K needs to average 2.4 threes per game for 5 games to break the record, which is well below her average on the season (104 over 34 games = 3.06 per game).

Actually that's oddly correct. Yesterday was when her 23-day physical cycle toggled from positive to negative.
And it was just reported she injured her Achilles... kid just can't get a break.
